Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

que estás en el cielo.
Santificado sea tu nombre.
Venga tu reino.

and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning
is now, and ever shall be
world without end.

Apostles Creed
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.
que fue concebido por obra y gracia del Espíritu Santo;
nació de Santa María Virgen;
padeció bajo el poder de Poncio Pilato;
fue crucificado, muerto y sepultado;
descendió a los infiernos;
al tercer día resucitó de entre los muertos;
subió a los cielos y está a la diestra de Dios Padre;
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.
Blessing of Food
Bless us, O Lord! and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Amen
Prayer to Your Guardian Angel
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
Fatima Prayer
Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy.
Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen.

Rosary Resources
What is the Rosary?
The events or mysteries in the life of Jesus Christ are not just examples of how to live; they form the core of our salvation. The Rosary, a prayer grounded in Scripture and imparted to us by the Blessed Mother herself, enables us to meditate on these mysteries systematically. This devotion fulfills the role we often seek from Mary: guiding us closer to Jesus. By praying various mysteries on designated days, we embrace the opportunity to deeply reflect on the Gospel and Jesus's life on Earth. The Rosary incorporates several prayers: the Apostles Creed, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Fatima Prayer, Hail, Holy Queen, and the Closing Prayer of the Rosary.
The Mysteries
There are four sets of mysteries, each assigned to specific days for prayer.
Joyful
The Joyful Mysteries are prayed on Mondays and Saturdays. The Joyful Mysteries help us meditate on the early life of Jesus and the joyful events marking the beginning of salvation history. The five mysteries are:
- The Annunciation: The angel Gabriel announces the birth of Jesus to Mary.
- The Visitation: Mary visits her cousin Elizabeth, who is also miraculously pregnant.
- The Nativity: Jesus is born in Bethlehem.
- The Presentation of Jesus at the Temple: Mary and Joseph present Jesus at the Temple and meet Simeon.
- The Finding of Jesus in the Temple: Jesus is found discussing with the teachers at the Temple.
Sorrowful
The Sorrowful Mysteries are prayed on Tuesdays and Fridays. They allow us to reflect on the significant moments of suffering and sacrifice in Jesus's life. The five mysteries are:
- The Agony in the Garden: Jesus prays in Gethsemane on the night before His crucifixion.
- The Scourging at the Pillar: Jesus is flogged at the pillar.
- The Crowning with Thorns: Jesus is mocked and crowned with thorns.
- The Carrying of the Cross: Jesus carries His cross to Golgotha.
- The Crucifixion: Jesus is crucified and dies for the sins of the world.
Glorious
The Glorious Mysteries are prayed on Wednesdays and Sundays. These mysteries help us contemplate the glory of Jesus's Resurrection and the triumph of divine mercy. The five mysteries are:
- The Resurrection: Jesus rises from the dead.
- The Ascension: Jesus ascends into Heaven.
- The Descent of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit descends upon Mary and the Apostles at Pentecost.
- The Assumption of Mary: Mary is assumed body and soul into Heaven.
- The Coronation of Mary: Mary is crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth.
Luminous
The Luminous Mysteries are prayed on Thursdays. They shed light on the public ministry and teachings of Jesus Christ. The five mysteries are:
- The Baptism of Jesus in the River Jordan: Jesus is baptized by John the Baptist.
- The Wedding at Cana: Jesus performs His first miracle at a wedding.
- The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God: Jesus calls for repentance and reveals the Kingdom of God.
- The Transfiguration: Jesus is transfigured and speaks with Moses and Elijah on the mountain.
- The Institution of the Eucharist: Jesus offers His Body and Blood at the Last Supper.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a devotion that uses rosary beads to meditate on the mercy of God. Originated by Saint Faustina Kowalska in the 1930s in Poland, following her visions of Jesus Christ, the chaplet is a sequence of prayers that implore God’s mercy for the forgiveness of sins. Typically prayed at 3 PM, which is the Hour of Great Mercy commemorating the moment of Jesus' death, it is especially powerful when prayed for the dying and those most in need of God’s mercy. The chaplet forms a key part of the Divine Mercy devotion, highlighted during the Divine Mercy Novena that starts on Good Friday and ends on Divine Mercy Sunday, the Sunday after Easter. This devotion encourages a deep trust in God's endless mercy and emphasizes the importance of being merciful to others. The Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross is a cherished devotional practice within the Catholic Church that allows the faithful to spiritually journey with Jesus Christ during His Passion and crucifixion. Each of the 14 stations focuses on a specific moment from Jesus' condemnation to His burial, reflecting the path He walked to Calvary. This tradition, deeply rooted in Christian history, traces back to the early Christians in Jerusalem who walked the actual Via Dolorosa. By meditating on these stations, participants deepen their appreciation of Christ's profound sacrifice and are invited to reflect on the depth of His love and suffering for humanity. Particularly emphasized during Lent and on Good Friday, the Stations of the Cross is not just a remembrance, but a living encounter that invites personal conversion and fosters a deeper communion with Christ. This practice serves as a powerful reminder of the cost of our salvation and calls us to live a life of gratitude and deeper faith. For more information and instructions on how to pray The Stations of the Cross you can read this blog post from Hallow's blog.
